This is a real challenge - can you handle it? the course runs from the Surf Club at Pauanui Beach to tyhe yop of Mount Pauanui and back down the summit via the South Eastern ridge to Cave Bay and around the coast to the foreshore and back to the start. A distance of approximately 8.5km and a race time of 1-1.5hrs. We advise you to take water and wear good shoes.

2 courses: 1.2km run/2.2km cycle for younger children. 2.5km run/5km cycle for older children. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult and corse length is shortened for these children. Helmets complusory and the road rules apply. Varying categories- Boy and Girls 12-15yrs, Boy and Girls 9-11yrs, Boys and Girls 5-8yrs. Training wheels not permittted, sorry!
