| Tairua Ferry |

| During summer the Tairua Ferry provides a continuous all day service between the Tairua Wharf, the Paku jetty and Pauanui departing from the Royal Billy Point jetty. |

The Pauanui Transfer Station is located at 887 Hikuai Settlement Road.
The opening hours are as follows:
Winter: Tuesday and Thursday 1.30pm – 5.30pm
Summer: Monday – Friday 12.30pm – 5.30pm
Weekends and Public Holidays (All Year): 10.30am – 5.30pm
To cater for the influx of people visiting Pauanui during the summer period, extra rubbish and recycling collection dates will be available. This information is available from the Council website www.tcdc.govt.nz |

| Air Field |
|
The airfeild at Pauanui is only a thirty minute flight from Auckland and twenty minutes from Tauranga and Hamilton. For the past forty years residents and visitors have had the ability to fly in and literally park right beside their houses. As a result Pauanui has a developed a strong affinity for light aircraft and has a well supported and active flying club.

Pauanui Library is a vibrant community facility run entirely by a group of enthusiastic volunteers. It is funded partly by subscription, partly by a grant from TCDC (who also pay the rent) and the rest from raffles and sales of surplus books. The light and airy premises are open for some hours Monday to Saturday. Phone (07) 864 8105.
The committee endeavour to ensure that the latest popular titles and books by contemporary authors are available; that there is a good selection of non-fiction books on most subjects and that the attractive sections for children and young adults are kept up to date. Local TCDC documents are also available here for public inspection. The annual subscription is only $15 per adult and holiday makers are welcome. There are no other charges. |

| Pauanui Community Church |
|
The Pauanui community church is situated alongside the shopping centre on Jubilee Drive (Map Ref G-4). The church operates as a multi-denomination facility with Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, Anglican, Catholic, and Special Youth services. The church is also a popular venue for Pauanui wedding ceremonies.
