The Pauanui Community Office is located behind the shopping centre and is being operated by volunteers on limited hours at weekends. The community office provides an opportunity for all property owners and residents to be involved in the future of Pauanui and to ensure the uniqueness of Pauanui is maintained.
THE PURPOSE OF THE COMMUNITY OFFICE:
To ensure the original vision for Pauanui, established by the Hopper family, is understood, protected and promoted, ie: unique environment, open space, landscaping and design ethos.
To provide support and leadership for all property owners through information and resources.
To continue to expand on the work currently undertaken by the Pauanui Ratepayers and Resedents Association Inc, especially pertaining to Local Government issues.
DID YOU KNOW?
The Pauanui Rate Payers and Residents Association has already saved every Pauanui Property owner at least $20 per year on their rates for the next six years.

VISION PAUANUI
With the publication of the Pauanui Community Plan – “Vision Pauanui” – the Pauanui Community Plan Working Group has brought together a vision for Pauanui. The Plan represents a common direction – the collective views and aspirations of our community – as well as being a celebration of Pauanui’s character.
The draft Community Plan is not an end point – merely the beginning of our community’s future. Apart from some major infrastructure works, this is not a ‘big spend’ vision. The community is already rich in which it has in terms of environment, lifestyle, facilities and amenities. This is a ‘care and manage’ vision. |
